Kainoa Brabo

Back in 2017, an open-source project, Magic Lantern, showed me programming's power used on Canon cameras. I knew cameras, but didn't know code. Ignited by curiosity, I went down the rabbit-hole of programming. My favorite subjects have always been mathematics, logic, and computers, therefore programming became a true passion and the end is history.

More recently, I graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz and have been working as a software engineer. My main focus has been working in teams, developing with various languages and tools, and integrating cloud services. With my current position at iBroadcast, I am developing music-centric, multi-platform applications.

As I advance in my career, I want to continue working on innovative projects, whilest sharing knowledge through teaching and mentorship. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, martial arts, photography, and traveling.
