 An open-source project first showed me the power of programming in 2017, and curiosity took it from there. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz, I now build music-centric, multi-platform applications at iBroadcast, working across teams, languages, and tools and integrating cloud services.

 I care about clear, reliable software and sharing what I learn through teaching and mentorship. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, martial arts, photography, and traveling.

Waimea

Timezone-anchored alarm & world-clock app

  • Alarms pinned to a place ring at that location’s local time, wherever you are.
  • World clocks, Home Screen widgets, and an Apple Watch app with a live next-alarm countdown.
  • Built with React Native and native iOS integrations for alarms and widgets, plus an Android widget.

iBroadcast Desktop

Cross-platform desktop app for uploading and managing your music library, built with Electron

  • Implemented desktop features: CD uploading, folder syncing that automatically uploads new music into iBroadcast, and full library download for offline, local listening.
  • Made uploads resilient and retry-able so large imports resume after the app goes offline, avoiding lost or duplicated tracks.
